Renger Diary Day 1

I get bored on flights and wanted to be as tired as I could so on Sunday afternoon I went for a run in cold Holland before going to the airport. At 21.50 I flew out from Amsterdam to Hong Kong and thanks to my run, I slept for about 9 of the 11 hour trip. Going to Macau involves just about every kind of transport there is. First you need the plane, then from the airport to Hong Kong city you use the Sky Train, then you get in a taxi to the harbour, then you get the boat to Macau and when you finally get there....another car to the Hotel! I have been to Macau before but this time it just feels so different. Our sponsor is a massive hotel and also where I am staying – City of Dreams (http://www.cityofdreamsmacau.com/en/). They have looked after me so well – I feel like a rockstar, just call me Mick Jagger from now on! I was picked up in a limousine and without even checking in I was sitting at the restaurant table! Everything done for me! I probably shouldn’t get too use to it. My big plan now after all that travel...to go for a swim. Monday is my final chill out day before the work starts!
